Facelift version of Maruti Suzuki Ertiga to launch on October 10, 2015
Maruti Suzuki India limited, country's leading car manufacturer is all set to launch the Facelift version of its popular MPV Ertiga tomorrow on October 10, 2015. The car maker has showcased the same at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show held in August, 2015. The new Ertiga Facelift version will be offered with a bunch of changes offered on its interior and exterior portions. It is also speculated that its diesel variant might be introduced, with SHVS (Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki) the system was seen in recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ciaz sedan. The SHVS system is helpful in improving fuel efficiency.
The Ertiga Facelift will be available in the same variants with little modifications. The 1.3 liter DDiS200 diesel engine might be offered with SHVS followed by start-stop and brake energy regeneration function. The 1.4 liter K14B petrol variant is expected to get automatic transmission system this time.
The most significant changes the 2015 Ertiga Facelift will receive would be introduced on on the exteriors, it gets a three-slatted chrome grille with refurbish bumper, fog lamp enclosures with chrome bezels. The headlights remain unchanged with minute changes on bonnet. On the rear portion it will receive chrome garnished stripes with Ertiga logo and reflactors mounted between the taillights. In the interiors, the MUV gets engine on-off push button, automatically foldable rear view mirrors and many more. The most interesting update it receives is installation of 7-inch touchscreen SmartPlay infotainment with navigation and third row seats with 50:50 split functionality.
