Fiat 500X to be showcased in Paris Motor Show
Based on Fiat Punto’s platform, the Fiat 500X has been in media talks this year. The auto-giant, Fiat is currently working to introduce its new models based on the Punto platform that includes the SUV and MUV models too.
The much talked, Fiat 500X is going to lock horns with Mini Countryman and is anticipated to be offered in 2WD and 4WD options. Doped with muscular styling, the Fiat 500X looks appealing and sporty. It is subjected to be of the same dynamics as the 500L MUV with more than four meters length and 400 litres of cargo volume. Furthermore, the 500X is going to have the 4WD technology of the Panda 4X4 which uses the hydraulic clutch system and helps to turn the rear wheels when the front wheels loose the grip.

However, the company has not yet revealed the engine types for this car, but speculations are that the base model might be introduced with a 1.4 liter 93 bhp Twin air petrol engine or the another 1.0 104 bhp 2 – cylinder inline. Buzz is that the multi-jet diesel inline variants could also be introduced. The ready mule of Fiat 500X is going to be showcased next month at the Paris Motor Show.
