Ford commences bookings of Figo Aspire, ready for launch in August 2015
It is reported that Ford India, the Indian alliance of U.S. car maker Ford is speculating to launch its highly awaited sedan Figo Aspire in India sometimes during the month of August 2015. As present the car maker is conducting the road show of the same across the 25 cities of India to grab the attention of car enthusiasts towards this sedan. It is also reported that most of the Ford dealers throughout the country have commenced the bookings of Figo Aspire at the down payment of Rs. 1 lakh. It is expected to be offered with price tag varying between Rs. 5 lakh and 7 lakh.
The upcoming sedan would be offered in both petrol and diesel variants which would be equipped with 1.2 litre TiVCT petrol and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine that would be mated with manual and automatic transmission system. It is also rumored that apart from 1.2 litre TiVCT petrol engine company might also offer 1.5 litre petrol engine that would be offered with six speed dual clutch transmission system. Talking about the features it will be blessed with some remarkable features including electronic ORVMs and airbags, ABS, steering mounted audio control. The top end variant is expected to be offered with additional features like SYNC App Link. After launch the compact sedan will have to face tough competition from Honda Amaze, Hyundai Xcent, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Tata Zest.
