Ford EcoSport 2016 to launch before Christmas this year
After successful launch of Figo Aspire sedan and refreshed Figo hatchback in Indian car market during two successive months of August and September respectively American car maker Ford is not set to bring the upgraded version of its SUV EcoSport soon in Indian car market quite early before Christmas this year. This was confirmed by Mr. Nigel Harris, President and Managing Director, Ford India, according to Mr. Harris Indian buyers will not have to wait long till Christmas for new EcoSport.
Under hood the refreshed version will continue 100 PS, 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine and is claimed to deliver ARAI approved fuel efficient performance of 25.83 kmpl. The same engine has also been offered in recently launched Figo Aspire sedan and refreshed hatchback Figo. The petrol version will continue 1.0 litre turbocharged EcoBoost engine followed by 1.5 litre Ti-VCT petrol engine mated with six speed powershift dual clutch transmission system.
Inside the cabin it will receive 4 inch color infotainment system, satellite navigation, reverse parking camera, and chrome garnished buttons for windows, handbrake lever and many more. On the safety front it will embellish features like driver side airbags standard on all trims followed by six airbags on top end variant Titanium plus.
