Ford EcoSport bookings started, reaches dealerships
Ford Motors have teased their Indian fans a lot with its sporty SUV, Ford EcoSport. The car was unveiled at the 11th Auto Expo that took place last year in New Delhi. In the beginning of 2013, the Ford EcoSport SUV was spotted on the roads of India a number of times during its test-runs. With the spotting, it was pretty much confirmed that the launch of this one is just round the corner. And the latest news has further given the green signal that the car will be launched in the Indian car market very soon. The Ford EcoSport bookings have finally commenced in most of cities, as per various news reports. It is heard that Ford EcoSport SUV can be booked by giving Rs. 50000 in advance, which is refundable amount. However, there is no official statement has been received in this regard.
Ford India is leaving no stone unturned to make its SUV one of the most popular in the Indian car market. It is quite clear that EcoSport is undoubtedly the toughest competitor to Renault Duster, which is doing extremely well in the country. Till now, Duster was solely enjoying the success, but with the arrival of EcoSport, it is quite obvious that Duster might have to step down from the throne as Ford has made its SUV a stunner altogether.
So what makes EcoSport special? Ford has designed the car in such a way that it comes out to be a clean blend of sportiness and elegance on the outside. On the other hand, the interiors have been well-equipped with all kinds of comfort features and a host of safety traits to protect the occupants in case of accident or collision. The 1.0-Litre EcoBoost Petrol engine under the hood is fuel efficient and ensures high performance delivery on road. The five-speed manual transmission coupled with the engine enhances the overall performance.
