Ford EcoSport explores its boundaries
Ford EcoSport after marking its successful existence in Indian car market is going to make its debut in German car market. Moreover an interesting feature of this debut in German market is that instead of assembling the Ford EcoSport in Germany, Ford will manufacture EcoSport in India and will export it to Germany. With this it is also reported that apart from Germany the compact SUV will be also exported to various European countries from June 2014. It means after marking its presence in Germany the same vehicle will be exported to Australia, United Kingdome and Switzerland.
The EcoSport version which will be sent to European market will be equipped with some specific features which will be adhered keeping in concern the requirement of European car market. This will strengthen the features offered in EcoSport which will make it more stronger compact SUV as offered in Indian car market. The EcoSport developed for European car market will be manufactured at company’s production plant located at Chennai. Talking about European Specific features it is anticipated that it will carry additional safety features which will strictly according European NCAP standards.
Targeting the youth SUV aspirants the European version of EcoSport will be offered with similar front wheel drive system which is available in Indian car market. The Ford EcoSport has succeeded in grabbing all major awards offered in its segment and company is finding it difficult to cater the demand in domestic car market.
