The upcoming Ford SUV is believed to create much abuzz at the show like it did in India during the Auto Expo held in New Delhi in January. The other car that will also be awaited by the audience at the Ford pavilion will be the MPV Ford B-Max. The B Max was unveiled at the last Geneva Motor Show and now it is time for its global appearance. Both these cars are among the eight upcoming cars by Ford India. The Ford Ecosport is the one that India is expecting with full fervor as after its unveil at the Auto Expo in India, there was much enthusiasm for this Ford SUV in India. The Urban SUV as Ford calls has the looks of a strong SUV and the comfort and agility of a city car. The Ford Ecosport will be powered by the 1L EcoBoost Ford engine that is of 3 cylinders and is high on performance and mileage as well. The 120 PS engine with a maximum torque output of 170Nm will be sufficient enough for the new Ford SUV to have the decent thrust.
High stance, prominent wheel arches, big air dam for the SUV to breathe apart from 17 inch alloy wheels are combine to form a sturdy looking SUV image for EcoSport. Car critics also draw resemblance with the Renault Duster.
