Ford EcoSport: Honored as the most awarded car of the year
Ford EcoSport the compact SUV from Ford India, the Indian alliance of U.S car making company Ford Motors has succeeded in grabbing the honor of most awarded passenger car of India. The compact SUV has succeeded in winning almost 30 awards in different categories determined for cars in Indian car market. Falling in the price range of Rs. 5.94 lakh to Rs. 7.13 lakh for petrol and diesel variants respectively for base models in both variants. EcoSport has received an overwhelming response from customers in market since its inception in 2013. It would be interested to know that apart from being fuel efficient SUV EcoSport is also blessed with dynamic and aggressive looks.
The petrol version of EcoSport is equipped with 1.5 litre petrol engine churning the power of 112 PS and torque of 140 Nm, the other option in petrol version is equipped with 1.0 litre petrol engine developing the power of 125 PS and torque of 170 Nm. The former version delivers an average of 18.9 kmpl while the later delivers an average of 16.15 kmpl. On the other side diesel version is powered with 1.5 litre diesel engine giving an average of 22.7 kmpl.
Apart from being a fuel efficient vechile EcoSport bestows various safety and comfort features which in-fact have been key players in its successful existence. The compact SUV is blessed with traction control and Electronic Stability program, six airbags, anti braking system, electronic brake force distribution and various others.
