Ford Ecosport launch date in India is June 26
Ford Ecosport SUV launch date in India has finally been declared by the company. The global compact SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) will officially be launched in domestic market on 26th June, 2013. Already, Ford dealers are accepting advance bookings for the vehicle across the country at an amount of Rs 50000. The new Ecosport's delivers would be started from July this year. Indian domestic market, Ford's compact SUV will take position against the Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Ertiga and Chevrolet Enjoy.

For Indian customers, the American auto major is bringing the Ecosport SUV in three engine options like 1.5L diesel, 1.5L petrol and 1.0L EcoBoost petrol. There four variants like Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus will be made available. The much popular 1.0L EcoBoost engine will be offered with only top-end Titanium model. Meanwhile, the 1.5L petrol engine model will be offered with both manual and automatic transmission system choices.

Ford Ecosport prices for each variant of the petrol and diesel models will also be declared on the launching occasion. As per expectations, in order to threat the same segment vehicles, Ford India would offer all variants of the beast between Rs 7.50 lakh Rs 11 lakh (Ex-showroom). Launching programme of the global compact SUV will be held in New Delhi.
