Ford Ecosport reaches dealerships, bookings open
Ford India has started the shipping of their global compact SUV Ford Ecosport to authorise dealerships across the country. Yesterday, the company has also confirmed advance bookings for the vehicle. The company is accepting Ford Ecosport's bookings at an amount of Rs 50000 and now beast has been dispatched to dealerships. India bound Ecosport will be launched in domestic market before the end of this month.

India launching Ecosport is being produced at company's Chennai based facility. Expecting the huge demand of the compact SUV in domestic market, the company has already enhanced the production capacity of the facility. India made model of the vehicle will also be exported to more than 100 countries across the world. After India, the new vehicle will be offered to the Nepalian customers too. After that, it will start exports of the compact SUV to European auto markets.

With an option of petrol model, the Ecosport SUV is available in Brazil and China. Meanwhile, the American auto major is accepting advance bookings for three engine options (1.5L petrol, 1.5L diesel and 1.0L EcoBoost Petrol) in Indian auto market. From features wise the new Ford SUV will be made available in four trims like Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus. At here it will be major rival of Renault Duster, Mahinra Quanto, Maruti Ertiga and Mahindra Scorpio.
