Ford EcoSport showcased in Bangalore

Ford Ecosport is sensationalizing the Indian car market since its unveil at the India Auto Expo held in January 2012. Now the a series of showcase are on in the country, the Ford SUV is amassing huge response from youths of the country. The latest unveil of the India made car model is at Chennai where it is showcased at Urban Hub Mall in Bengaluru. The launch of the compact SUV is expected to be in June this year and this tentative launch date has come after a series of guesses and buzzes in the industry. It is believed that these marketing initiatives by the car maker will be fruitful and it will give a very good start to the new car.

 
The expected price of the Ford Ecosport is between Rs 7 lakh to Rs 9 lakh and it will be launched in petrol and diesel engine options. The petrol car will be powered by the world known 1 L EcoBoost engine that is known for its power delivery as well as high mileage while the diesel engine option will be the 1.5 L engine derived from Ford Fiesta. In the country, the car will be competing with Renault Duster and Mahindra Quanto and as such there is no other rival to the car. But soon there will be the Maruti XA Alpha launch and at the time, the tough times of both Duster and EcoSport are expected to begin as India is a paradise for Maruti cars.

Prior to this showcase at Chennai, the car maker has already showcased the car at high footfall malls in New Delhi and Mumbai on March 15. This fresh showcase will be an addition to step up the craze and visibility of this SUV in the country.
