Ford Ecosport unveiled, new Ford Fiesta coming soon

Ford is bullish on Europe when the economy there is slack. After unveiling the Ford Fiesta hatchback and the new Mondeo, the car maker has also unveiled the Ford Ecosport for Europe. The new SUV by Ford has been a super hit in Brazil where it was born and brought up. It is said that the SUV will be launched in Europe in the coming months. Meanwhile, the SUV launch in India is close by. In India, the Ecosport launch price is expected to remain around Rs 8.5 lakh and the SUV will be sneaking into the sales domain of Renault Duster and the upcoming Ford Ecosport.

The new SUV is compact for the sake of name only as it has a comfortable seating for five people. Built on Ford Fiesta platform, the SUV promises the same maneuverability and performance as people have experienced in the sedan. Thus the SUV will have the ease of use of sedan car, the power and ruggedness of the SUV. It seems that no terrain will be harder for the SUV and it will be rocking once it is launched. In India, Ford has started an ad campaign following which the car maker is highly publicizing the 1 L Ecoboost engine’s mileage and performance.

Apart from the new Ecosport, Ford also has plans to launch the Ford B Max MPV and the new Ford Fiesta later this year or next year. It is expected that the new Ecosport will be launched in Europe next year. Meanwhile, India launch is about to happen in some days. A lot of features such as drive assist and ABS, EBD besides the Hill Assist will be there on the Ecosport and most importantly the car maker will be trying to keep the price down by manufacturing the car here in India.
