Ford Launches EcoSport Signature Edition in India
Going through the showering of luring offers by car manufacturers during the festive season, U.S based car maker Ford has also introduced the Signature Edition of its compact SUV EcoSport in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 9.26 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The Ford Signature Editions integrates plethora of contemporary accessories worth Rs. 37,894 comprising of painting and configuration. The Signature Edition identically looks similar to Black Titanium trim and therefore can also be regarded as its advanced version. The bunch of additional accessories that are offered with new Signature Edition includes full black treatment on the exteriors comprising of black mirror covers, black roof fails, black fog lamp bezel, black grille, and black out moulded headlamps.
Mechanically the Ford EcoSport Signature Edition is offered with option of 1.5 litre petrol engine available with manual and automatic transmission system, followed by 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine and also 1.0 litre EcoBoost engine that is being offered in global market. The transmission system includes both five speed manual gearbox and six speed dual clutch transmission system.
Talking about the changes that are offered on the exterior profile include newly LED DRLs supported by five LED lights mounted just at the beneath of fog lamp bezel. The sources of company claim that integration of DRLs will help in offering better visibility during poor lighting condition and also enhance the appearance of vehicle. The front and rear bumpers receive new silver appliqués which are helpful in enhancing the sportier look of compact SUV.
Inside the cabin it sports bright, illuminated scuff plates along with black vinyl seat covers stitched with rd, grooming the look of interiors. The other features inside cabin almost remain same continuing SYNC with Applink and six airbags.
