Ford Launches new Updated EcoSport, Priced at Rs 6.79 Lakh
Ford India launches the all new updated and stylish EcoSport compact SUV, priced at Rs 6.79 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) ahead of the festive season to delight the customers in India. The front end of this new compact SUV remains same but it additionally gets head-lamps with day-time running LEDs.
Although, the new car design and dimension are same as previous model, however some changes can be seen on the skid plate and a 17- inch alloy wheels. Ground clearance of 200mm and wheel mounted on rear door remains the same. Compact SUV has been furnished with new features such as electochromic mirror that naturally diverts a light emission from trailing vehicles to minimize obstacle to drivers.
The new compact SUV is available in 8 colors, including a new colour named as Golden Bronze with other naming Mars Red, Panther Black, Kinetic Blue, Diamond White, Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey and Chill Metallic. In terms of safety, new Ford EcoSport has been introduced with 6 airbags and Emergency Assistance that uses Sync and a Bluetooth- combined phone to call emergency service automatically and provide data of vehicle and location.
New Ecosport is available in a 5-speed manual transmission, whereas 1.5 liter Ti-VCT petrol variant is equipped with a 6-speed PowerShift automatic transmission.
Ford India, has introduced a new trim level with this updated version namely Trend +, whereas Titanium (O) variant has been renamed to Titanium+. The price distribution of new EcoSport variants is as followed.
