Ford unveils EcoSport at Dubai Motor Show
With an objective of increasing its market share in Middle East Countries American Multination car making company Ford has displayed its highly acclaimed SUV EcoSport at Dubai International Motor Show. It would be interested to know that like other motor show’s all major auto makers are unveiling new models and facelifts of their existing vehicles at Dubai International Motor Show and from this point of view Ford is not an exception to it as so far apart from displaying Ford EcoSport in event it has also displayed Fusion and Mustang.
It is rumored that Ford is now focusing mainly on Middle East and South African Countries to strengthen presence of its vehicles. The main reason behind this strategy is that vehicles of Ford are already performing good in other markets of world and therefore now as an expansion plans it has to now focus on those markets where its position is weak. According to reports company is also planning to launch 17 new more vehicles in these markets in next two years.
According to Mr. Stephen Odell, President, Ford Motors, said car markets in countries of Middle East and South Africa have huge potential of growth and therefore company wants to introduce new vehicles for customers in these countries. According to sales statistics sales of Ford and Lincoln in these countries have grown to 60 percent during last for years.
