General Motors next launch is Enjoy MPV
Out of the three E-named cars – Ertiga, Evalia and Enjoy, two are in and the next is Chevrolet Enjoy. The car maker has this MPV on launch radar after the addition of the Chevrolet Sail sedan. Meanwhile, Maruti Ertiga has literally captured the market and is enjoying the bloom while Nissan Evalia is also getting encouraging response from car buyers who wish to have something spacious and some car that returns exceptionally high mileage despite of the big size. The Enjoy MPV price in the country is expected to remain between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh and it will set afire the segment and could beat out Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo completely from the segment.
Originally a renamed and rebadged Wuling Hongguang car, the MPV is expected to carry on the same success legacy in India as well. The car maker too has high hopes with it as it will also be put as an option to Chevrolet Tavera which is recently getting meek response as compared to Innova and Ertiga or Xylo. In order to make the car more lucrative both mileage wise as well as power and performance wise, the car maker has decided to put in the 1.3 L turbo diesel engine under its hood. This is the same engine that is powering a lot of diesel cars in India including the best selling Ertiga. With 77 bhp power the car will have no problem in terms of performance and mileage as this engine is known for its power delivery and top notch performance.
Just like its other segment siblings, the car will be a seven seater and will have a lot of safety and other features in order to be competitive both price wise and features wise. The car will be launched in March this year and will be able to bring some smiles to the sales chart in the next financial year.
