GM kicks off test production of Chevrolet Enjoy MPV
The Maruti Ertiga MPV is enjoying its spell and the Nissan Evalia is creating its space among those who need lots of extra space in a car while the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is about to arrive. Now the latest update regarding Enjoy is that the car has entered test production. The test production vehicles will rehearse the final production and will also test the hiccups and other issues during production. As per sources information this is a major development as there is generally only one month gap between the test production and the final production. Thus the car is all set to launch in April. The new MPV by Chevrolet is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh.
This will be the second launch by this American car maker and it is believed to be one of the major one as this new MPV will challenge Maruti Ertiga that is selling like hotcakes beating even the biggies such as Toyota Innova and Mahindra Xylo. Thus said it is also believed to challenge the under four meter SUV cum MPV avatar Mahindra Quanto. Alike the segment players the Enjoy MPV will also be a seven seater car with comfortable seating at the third row as well. Besides being spacious, the car is believed to be offered at an attractive price.
The Fiat sourced 1.3 L multijet engine that is on duty under the hood of many cars in India will also be under the hood of this new Chevrolet car as well. The engine has been tuned to output over 90 bhp and a max torque of 200 Nm in order to give the car extra power. To be available in all beige interiors the new car is all set to launch in April and sensationalize the segment once again.
