This Geneva Motor Show seems to have many winners as it starts off with Volkswagen Golf being named as the ‘Car of the Year 2013’. Commenced yesterday, the gala event is a host to some of the world best cars and this time it seems that Honda will be the show stopper as it will be unveiling the Wagon Concept of the Honda Civic. This car like its junior will have the Magic seats at the rear that not only seats passengers comfortably but also increases the space once folded. This unveil is expected to be a remarkable one as the Civic hatchback is already a matter of much appreciation by the car buyers. In addition to this, Honda will also showcase the compact version of the new CRV with a diesel heart. Honda fans in India will be highly pleased as this new CRV compact crossover will sure make it to India.
Though at the concept stage, the Civic Wagon will take little time to get into final phase of production. Meanwhile, expert sources inform that the car will be displayed at the Show with a host of its exclusive accessories and embellishments. Some are – new and much larger alloy wheels, new rear styling commensurate with its new body style, side skirts and much larger and lowered breathing space at the front. The industry standard LED daytime running lights also make way apart from an all new palette of body colors and much cozier and attractive interiors.
Under the hood of the car, there will be 120 PS turbo diesel engine that has a cubic capacity of 1.6 L. Though no official announcement has been made as of yet of its availability but informed sources say that it will be launched sometime next year. Meanwhile, the CRV Compact crossover sales will start soon may be by the end of this year.
