Hyundai Creta 2020 Launch Confirmed On March 16, 2020
Finally, the Hyundai India has confirmed that it will launch its highly-awaited subcompact SUV Creta 2020 in the Indian car market on March 16, 2020, and has also initiated its bookings at the down payment of Rs. 25,000. The Indian alliance of Korean carmaker had unveiled the same version of Creta SUV during the Auto Expo 2020.
Under the hood, it is reported to be empowered with the same engine configuration as offered in Seltos compact SUV from another Korean carmaker Kia. The same engine version is also offered in the next generation of Verna and the upcoming Elantra (slated for Global launch on March 18, 2020). The engine configurations offered in Creta 2020 will include 1.5-liter petrol engine with CVT automatic transmission system and generate the power of 115 bhp, the 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a seven-speed DCT transmission system, and the 1.5-liter diesel engine with a six-speed top converter transmission system generating the power of 138 bhp. All the variants will be also equipped with a manual gear transmission system as a standard feature.
Inside the cabin, it will be offered with the dual-color option of Dual colored (black and beige) and an overall black color option. The all-black interior is however offered in the top-trim SX(O) and equipped with a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine. Some of the major features offered in this trim include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, that supports connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Blue Link with 50 connected car technology, ventilated seats, electric parking brake, panoramic sunroof and many more. The regular petrol and diesel variants are reported to deliver an average of 16.8 kmpl and 21.4 kmpl respectively, while the turbocharged petrol engine is reported to deliver an average of 16.8 kmpl.
