Hyundai Creta hits showrooms, before launch
Scheduled for launch on July 21, 2015, the upcoming compact SUV Creta from Korean car maker Hyundai has reached at the gates of its dealers quite early before the launch, thus offering enthusiasts to have its first look. According to reports received from spies they have witnessed the compact SUV parked inside the showrooms of its dealers. It would be interested to learn that spies have even succeeded in capturing the images of exteriors and interiors at first instance. It is speculated to be offered with the starting price of Rs. 8 lakh and going high up-to Rs. 12 lakh. After launch it will compete against Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and Renault Duster.
It would be offered in both petrol and diesel trims with one engine option in petrol version and 2 engines option in diesel variant. The petrol trim would be enriched with 1.6 litre petrol engine followed by 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre engine options in diesel variant. The petrol engine would be offered in three trims namely Creta L (base), Creta S and SX+, whereas the diesel trim with 1.4 litre diesel engine option will be offered in Creta L, S and S+ followed by SX, SX+ and SX (O) variants in diesel variant enriched with 1.6 litre diesel engine.
Major features offered in Creta are ABS, 16 inch alloy wheels, rear parking camera with guidelines, 2 DIN Music system that supports connectivity CD/AUX/USB/iPod, chrome garnished door handles, smart key/ push button, child seat anchor, side and curtain airbags, speed sensing auto door locks and many more.
