Hyundai Elantra 2017 being tested on roads, caught by spies
Name of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has already become a replica of authenticity and reliability in Indian car market and therefore after MSIL it is the second most trusted names in Indian car market. Few days back HMIL the Indian arm of Korean car maker had revealed its plan for 2016 in India and showcased the generation next of Tucson SUV and Elantra sedan during the Indian Auto Expo 2016. According to reports SUV Tucson is already getting ready for launch by end of this year, but with this the car maker has also started test drives for generation next Elantra on Indian roads which was captured by spies under lenses recently. Although the version of Elantra spied was completely camouflaged but, spies still succeeded in having a glimpse about the looks that will be offered in new Elantra.

Under hood generation next Elantra will be empowered with 1.6 litre petrol developing the power of 132 PS followed by diesel engine of 1.6 litre churning power of 136 PS. Both the engines would be offered with option of six speed manual and automatic transmission system. As far as engine options for Indian car market nothing has been confirmed so far by company resources.

According to spies the exteriors of new Elantra will embellish newly developed head lamps and tail lamps and has been developed from Advanced High Strength Steel material making it stronger than it outgoing version. Inside the cabin it will receive driver friendly room decorated with new infotainment system followed by integration various contemporary added features. Structurally it has length of 4610mm, width of 1450mm and wheelbase of 2700mm. Thus, making new Elantra 20mm lengtheir and 25mm wider then existing Hyundai Elantra.
