Hyundai Elantra launched in Taiwan, India launch soon
Sanyang Industry Co. Ltd., the venture partner of Hyundai Motors in Taiwan is looking forward to mount up its sales this year with the launch of compact sedan, Hyundai Elantra in April 2012. Back in 2011, the car maker, Sanyang sold around 14,000 units of Hyundai cars in their local market and also bagged the major share of Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment in Taiwan. Sanyang is speculating to mount up its sales by 60 percent this year, with the launch of Hyundai Elantra.
Sanyang General Agent, President of Nanyang Industries Co. Ltd., R.L. Lai stated that the company has set three goals for 2012. Their first objective is to attain # 1 spot in the domestic crossover market, secondly they would initiate to tap successful in the compact sedan segment and they would also try to maintain their mounting growth as the car assemblers in the third progressive year. In order to attain these objectives, the company is also looking forward to increase the strength of their sales representatives up to 600 from its current representative strength of 400.

It is expected that Sanyang would unveil the new Hyundai Elantra in the beginning of next month. This 1.8 liter compact sedan would be tagged at the price of around NT $ 700,000. Furthermore, the Elantra is expected to be one of the most powerful products in its segment mated with a six speed automatic transmission. The company acclaimed that it has already got the firm orders of more than 300 units of this compact sedan and they are expecting to the orders to be around 1,000 units, prior this car is launched in the market.
Earlier, Sanaysng also affirmed that Elantra has received good response in the international auto-market and the company is expecting this car to get the similar response on the domestic shores too.
