Hyundai Elite i20 to be energized with 1.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine
It is rumored that Korean car maker Hyundai Motors is speculating to enhance the petrol trim of its hatchback Elite i20 with 1.0 L Turbo Petrol engine and is conducting its test drives. It is anticipated that car maker may showcase the same during Frankfurt Motor Show to be held in September. The new proposed engine will get direct gasoline injection and a single-scroll turbocharger that boost the power of 118 bhp and torque of 172 Nm.
It is expected that new Elite i20 with 1.0 L Turbo Petrol Engine will reach the International market during next years and will follow its way to Indian car market after hitting global roads. At present the existing version of Elite i20 is offered with 1.2 litre petrol and 1.4 litre DRDi diesel engine with former boosting the power of 83 ps and torque of 11 Nm while later generating the power of 90 PS and torque of 220Nm. It is also anticipated that new version of Elite i20 might also get few upgrades on both exteriors and interiors.
