Hyundai Grand i10 launched in LPG variant
Hyundai Motors India Limited the Indian division of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has launched the LPG version of its highly acclaimed hatchback Grand i10 with starting price of Rs. 4.92 lakh (ex-showroom price) for solid color followed by Rs. 4.96 lakh (ex-showroom price) for metallic color. The LPG variant has been launched in Magna model of hatchback. The PLPG variant is energized with 1.0 litre VTVT engine which is also offered in its sibling Eon developing the power of 68 bhp and torque of 92Nm. The engine is mated with five speed manual gearbox and sports company fitted LPG kit with two years unlimited kilometer warranty.

In Indian car market the hatchback was launched in September 2013 and within the span of ten months it recorded the sales of one lakh units. With this LPG version of Grand i10 it is speculated that the launch of LPG version of company’s recent launch XCent sedan is also not far. Soon company might launch its LPG version also in Indian car market.
The Grand i10 in Indian car market was launched to fill the gap between its elder sibling i10 and i20. The major features offered in Grand i10 are climate control, steering mounted audio controls, rear air conditioner vents, integrated music system, rear parking sensors and many more. The strong contenders of Grand i10 in India car market are Beat from Chevrolet, Micra from Nissan, Swift from MSIL and others in segment.
