Hyundai India Starts Testing Of Creta 2020
The compact SUV Creta by the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors that was launched almost four years back in July 2015 is getting ready to undergo the first major facelift. Recently the prototype of the same was captured by the spies while it was undergoing the test drive. According to the reports received from the spied the Indian version of Hyundai Creta 2020 looks identical to the generation next Hyundai ix25 and carries most of its looks similar to Palisade SUV. The new Creta 2020 is expected to make its debut during the Indian Auto Expo 2020 scheduled to be held during the month of February.
According to the reports in its new avatar the new Creta will be dimensionally quite bigger than its existing version, and capable of accommodating seven passengers easily. The other features will include internet connectivity as offered in Venue, while the front fascia carries the same appearance as offered in Tata Harrier, Kia Seltos, and MG Hector.

Under the hood, it will be empowered with the new 1.5 litre petorl and diesel engines boosting the power of 115 hp and 144 Nm and 115hp and 250Nm respectively. Both the engines are BSVI compliant and mated with six speed gearbox followed by an option of IVT auto and 6AT in petrol and diesel engines accordingly. It is also believed that it might also receive 1.4 litre turbo petrol eninge outsourced from the Kia Seltos. This engine will generate the power of 140 hp and the torque of 242 Nm and mated with 6 MT or 7 DCT.
Inside the cabin, it will be offered with two options including the combination of beige and black and complete black. The cabin is more spacious as compared to the existing version bigger seats with soft leather touch. The dashboard will receive the large touchscreen infotainment system, enlarged sunroof, improved boot space and many more.
