Hyundai introduces AMT system in Creta Petrol variant

After successful launch of compact SUV Creta in Indian car market almost a year back, HMIL the Indian arm of Korean car maker has introduced the highly awaited automatic trim in its petrol variant with price tag of Rs. 12.86 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), with any aggressive promotional strategy. The automatic transmission system has been introduced in top end SX+ trim of petrol variant and bestows various luxurious features which buyers expect from their compact SUV. In the beginning car maker had introduced automatic transmission system only in diesel variant.

Empowered with 1.6 litre petrol engine coupled with six speed torque converter transmission unit boosting the power of 122 bhp and torque of 154 Nm. With emergence of automatic variant in petrol version Creta has become the first vehicle in segment with automatic transmission system, before the arrival of BR-V sometimes during next month. With this launch company has also started receiving bookings of automatic variant throughout the country.

The features loaded in automatic version of petrol variant in Creta include automatic climate control system, push-start button, touchscreen infotainment system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, AUX, and USB, projector headlamps with LED DRLs in ratio of 60:40, diamond cut alloy wheels and many more depending upon the expectations of buyers from automatic vehicles. It is also rumored that car maker might also launch automatic variant in S+ trim of diesel variant.
