Hyundai launches automatic variant of Grand i10
Overwhelmed from the encouraging response received by launch of Grand i10, Indian division of Korean car maker Hyundai Motors India Limited has finally launched the automatic variant of Hyundai Grand i10, with price tag of Rs. 5.73 lakh (ex-showroom price in Chennai). According to reports currently automatic gear box has been provided in Sportz and Asta model of Grand i10. The automatic variant of Grand i10 is empowered with 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine generating the power of 79 bhp and torque of 112 Nm. The power to front wheels is transited through four speed AT box.
As far as integration of other features is concerned company has not made any changes except to mandatory changes that are usually introduced while converting car into automatic version. With this launch one thing is clear that soon Hyundai will also introduce automatic version of diesel variant also in market.
To buy automatic variant of Grand i10 buyers will have to book it by making payment of Rs.10, 000, after which company will hand over them their car within the span of 15 days.
