Hyundai releases brochure of CRETA quite early before launch
With only hours left for Korean car maker Hyundai Motors to launch its ever first compact SUV CRETA in Indian car market car maker has released its brochure revealing information about engine and safety measures offered in it. To begin with engine as reported earlier it would be offered in both petrol and diesel engine configurations. The petrol variant would be offered with 1.6 litre VTVT petrol engine churning the power of 12 PS and torque of 151 Nm.
Talking about diesel engine, there would be two engine options. The first one would be 1.4 litre CRDI diesel engine that will generate the power of 90 PS and torque of 220 Nm it would be mated with six speed manual gear transmission system. The second engine configuration in diesel variant would be empowered with 1.6 litre CRDI diesel engine boosting the power of 128 PS and torque of 260Nm. It would be offered with six speed automatic transmission system.
As far as safety measures as concerned it will bestow features like 17 inch alloy wheels and projector headlamps on the exteriors. Inside the cabin you will find leather seats, Audio Video Navigation System(AVN), five inch touchscreen audio system, smart key with push button start, rear AC vents, 6-airbags, Anti-lock Braking system(ABS), Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Vehicle Stability management (VSM), Hill start Assist Control (HAC), and reverse parking camera. It will be offered with 3 years/unlimited Kilometer warranty.
