Hyundai set to launch Xcent aka Grand i10 sedan in coming two months
After establishing Hyundai Grand i10 hatchback as its strong flagship last year, Korean car giant and country’s second car manufacturing recently unveiled the second product of Hyundai Grand i10 as Hyundai Grand i10 sedan aka Xcent in the Indian Auto Expo 2014 company is all set to launch the sedan in Indian car market either in the last week of March 2014 or first week of April 2014.
Developed on platform of Grand i10 hatchback the new sedan Grand i10 has been designed keeping the conditions of Indian roads in concern as an impact of which the new sedan is developed with larger wheel base. Like its elder sibling Grand i10 hatchback sedan Xcent is also expected to be launched in Indian car market after its unveiled in Indian Auto Expo.
As far as engine configurations are concerned company will offer the same engine configuration as offered in Grand i10 hatchback. Apart from this it is also speculated that company may offer Xcent diesel variant with additional engine configuration of 1.4 litre or even diesel engine variant with automatic transmission system. Buyers who are waiting to buy Xcent after its launch and are keen to know about its price will have to still wait for atleast one and half months because company has not yet revealed any information about its price tag, however it is expected to be priced around Rs. 7 lakh.
