Hyundai to boost production of Elite i20 to bring down waiting period
It is reported that Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) the Indian arm of Korean car maker and second largest maker in country is going to enhance the production of new hatchback Elite i20 in Indian car market to cut down the waiting period of hatchback which succeeded in receiving an overwhelming response of Indian car enthusiasts. According to reports revealed by company it is planning to exceed the production of Elite i20 from 10,000 units to significant number so as to minimize the exceeding waiting period. In the words of Mr. Rakesh Srivasta, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales, HMIL, by increasing the production of Elite i20 company wants to assure that buyers of hatchback should not wait for long time to drive their dream car.
Launched in both petrol and diesel trims powered with 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre CRDi engines respectively, hatchback is bestowed with impressive features. The safety features offered in hatchback include ABS+EBD, four passenger air bags and reverse parking camera. On the exteriors it receives cornering lights. LED DRLs, projector headlamps and roof rails. It is offered with starting price of Rs. 5.23 lakh (ex-showroom price).
