Hyundai to Launch the Facelift Version of Creta in 2018

Hyundai Creta the first ever compact SUV by Korean car maker in Indian car market via its alliance Hyundai Motors India Limited is speculating to bring the facelift version of vehicle in Indian car market sometimes during 2018. Recently a teaser of same was revealed by company giving the glimpse of vehicle. The new avatar of Hyundai Creta is expected to be offered with improved exteriors and interiors and continue with existing engine configurations. It is reported that Korean car maker will showcase the prototype of facelift Creta during the upcoming 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show slated for organisation during the month of November.

To begin with engine configurations it is reported that 2018 Hyundai Creta will be empowered with same 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol engine boosting the power of 121 bhp and torque of 151 Nm, followed by two engine options of 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre U2 CRDi diesel engines. The former diesel engine configuration generates the power of 89 bhp and torque of 220Nm while later generates the power of 126 bhp and torque of 259Nm. The transmission system will include both six speed manual and six speed CVT automatic transmission system depending upon the preferences of buyers.

On the exteriors Hyundai Creta 2018 will receive Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language which is followed in generation next cars that are being offered by car maker. From the teaser image it can be seen the front fascia receives hexagonal front grille with newly developed front bumper and new set of horizontal fog lamps. Moving towards the rear it will embellish newly developed tailgate with revised rear bumper. Inside the cabin it will receive treatment of high quality materials and some additional features to give luxurious features.
 
Recently, company had also launched the Anniversary Edition of Hyundai Creta in India and handed over the keys of its first unit to Indian badminton player Saina Nehwal. In Indian car market Hyundai Creta was launched last year and succeeded in impressing all section of car enthusiasts. The success of Creta in India can be witnessed from the fact that with bookings of more than 1 lakh unit still it has waiting period of four to six months.
