Hyundai Unveils Facelift Version of Elantra 2014 in South Korea
The leading Korean car manufacturing company Hyundai Motors to in South Korea exposed the facelift version of its Elantra sedan launched in Indian car market last year. According to authentic sources the facelift Elantra has undergone few notable cosmetic surgery operation and will be launched in 1.6 litre diesel engine that was launched in Indian market. Unlike Indian version of Elantra the engine of facelift Elantra also generates 128 PS and torque of 259 Nm.
Moving towards the cosmetic changes that have been introduced in the facelift variant are that compared to existing model in Indian market the new variant is 20mm long, and integrates LED headlights, and newly framed front and rear bumpers which are helpful in retaining the balance of car. With this integration of 17 inch alloy wheels play an important role in making its look more unique than the previous one. As far as interiors of Elantra 2014 are concerned the vents of air conditioner have been repositioned followed by extended height of arm rest. The new interior sports ventilated seats, touchscreen display of 3.5 inch and rear ac vents. It would be interested to learn that interiors of new Elantra are designed keeping the reviews received from customers. Other notable changes introduced flex steer and advanced parking assist system.
According to industry sources these cosmetic changes in Elantra have been introduced to provide tough competition to Skoda Octavia that has been recently unveiled in Indian car market couple of days. It is expected that existing version of Elantra will be covered under the shadow of Skoda Octavia and the new version will be a parallel contender to it.
