Hyundai Venue Offered With The Starting Price Of Rs. 6.50 Lakh!!!
Finally, after lots of speculation and promotional campaigns Korean car maker Hyundai Motors has launched its highly awaited compact SUV Venue in the Indian car market with the price tag of Rs. 6.50 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The compact SUV is launched in both the variants with a two engine options in the petrol variant followed by single engine option in the diesel variant, with overall five trims namely E, S, SX, SX Dual Tone and SX (O). The bookings of the Venue have been already commenced by the car maker since May 2, 2019 at the down payment of Rs. 21,000. The platform of Venue has been outsourced from Carlino and will compete against Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon and Mahindra TUV300.
Under the hood, petrol variant is offered with 1.2 litre Kappa engine outsourced from Grand i10. The engine churns the power of 82 bhp and the torque of 115Nm at 6000 rpm and 4000 rpm respectively. The transmission duties would be performed by five speed manual gear transmission system and is claimed to deliver an average of 17.52 kmpl. The diesel variant is empowered with 1.4 litre turbo U2 CRDi engine that generates the power of 89 bhp at 4000 rpm and the torque of 220Nm at rpm from 1500-2750. The transmission duty will be performed by six speed manual gearbox with fuel efficiency of 23.70 kmpl. The third engine option is 1.0L 3 cylinder T-GDi petrol engine that will developed the power of 118 bhp @6000 rpm and the torque of 172Nm @rpm between 1500-4000. The transmission duties would be performed by six speed manual gearbox followed by an option of seven speed dual clutch auto transmission system. The trim with the manual gearbox is reported to deliver an average of 18.27 kmpl whereas the dual clutch auto transmission system will deliver an average of 18.15 kmpl.
Talking about the color options, there will be overall ten color options. Apart from this the Venue will be equipped with some features that are offered for the first time in the segment. The list of these features include automatic air conditioner with air purifier, eight inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, BlueLink smart connectivity with 10 additional features. The list of safety features includes Anti-lock braking system, Electronic Brake-Force Distribution, dual front airbags, and ISOFIX seat anchors for child safety. All these features are offered as standard safety features across all the trims.
