Jeep India reveals features of Wrangler before its launch
Features of Jeep Wrangler have been revealed by the Indian subsidiary of U.S based automaker Jeep ahead of its launch sometimes during the month of July this year. According to authentic reports Jeep India has revealed the whole technical information related with the vehicle at its official website. It is stated that initially Jeep will be launched with 2.8 litre diesel engine that will be capable of boosting the power of 197 bhp and torque of 460Nm.It will be a four wheel drive vehicle mated with five speed automatic transmission system. It is endorsed to deliver an average of 12.1 kmpl accredited by ARAI.
It will have boot space of 884 litres and ground clearance of 238mm which is enough to face all sorts of obstacles on road, moving ahead the robust axle and differential lock make Wrangler as one of vehicles available in Indian car market. Other features that would be offered in India specific version of Wrangler will include touch screen infotainment system, tyre pressure monitoring system, heated front seats, SAT-NAV system, 28 GB hard drive for music system. On the safety front it embellishes features like traction control, dual airbags, hill ascent and descent control system, ESP and many more. It is speculated to be priced around Rs. 50 lakh and will be brought as completely built in unit.
