Jeep Wrangler Launched In India With The Price Tag Of Rs. 53.90 Lakh
Jeep India has launched the Wrangler SUV in the Indian car market with the starting price of Rs. 53.90 Lakh (ex-showroom price). The locally assembled Wrangler is the five-seater SUV that has been brought through the semi-knocked down (SKD) route rather than the completely built unit (CBU). The components of the Wrangler are assembled at its production unit located in Ranjangon near Pune in Maharashtra. With this, the company has also initiated the bookings for the SUV.

Mechanically, the Wrangler is empowered with a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates the power of 262 bhp and torque of 400Nm. The transmission duty will be performed by an eight-speed automatic transmission system. It is equipped with a new Selec-Trace full-time 4WD drive system with integrated sensors to calculate the traction slip. It is offered in two variants namely Unlimited and Rubicon.
Inside the cabin, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler receives the updated dashboard and central console, an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto followed by UConnect 4C NAV connected technology. It also comes equipped with additional features like dual-zone climate control, passive keyless entry system, premium leather upholstery, push-button start, and a few more. On the safety front, it comes equipped with a bunch of features including a hill-start assist system, electronic roll mitigation, driver and front passenger airbag, speed control, tyre pressure monitoring system, front park assist, a rearview camera, and a few more.
On the exterior front, it receives the features like fender-mounted side indicators, seven-slat front grille, fog lamps, spare wheel mounted on the tailgate, LED taillights. It also receives the feature of removing the doors and roof according to the requirement. It is available in five colours including, Firecracker Red, Sting Grey, Black, Bright White, and Granite.
