Jeep India’s Sport Plus Variant Launched for INR15.99 Lakh onwards
You all must have heard about Jeep Compass. The company has now come with its newest variant i.e. Jeeb Compass Sport Plus. The price starts from INR 15.99 lakh for petrol and INR 16.99 lakh for its diesel variant. This all new sports variant of very popular Jeep Compass is a level above the entry-level and is approximately INR 59,000 expensive than the entry level sports car model.
Well-equipped with astonishing features, Jeep Compass Sports Plus hosts all-wheel disc brakes, dual-zone automatic climate control, electronic parking brake, reverse park assist sensors, frequency selective damping, anti-lock braking system and electronic roll mitigation.
The all new sports look Jeep Compass rides on a 16-inches silver coloured alloy wheels, black roof rails and sports plus badge on the tail gate. For security and other features, this all new model of Jeep Compass includes rear parking sensors, 5.0 inch touchscreen infotainment system etc. This variant is available with 2-engine variants i.e. 1.4-litre Multi-air petrol and a 2.0-litre multi-jet II diesel – producing 163bhp and 173bhp respectively. Power is transmitted to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox.

- The company claims fuel efficiency of 17.1 km/l and 14.1 km/l for the diesel and petrol engines, respectively, of the new Jeep Compass Sport Plus.

With the launch of this amazing car, Jeep India is focusing to improve the sales of compass SUV, competing with Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV500. This sports model of Jeep Compass will be powered by the 173bhp, 2.0-litre diesel engine paired to a 9-speed automatic gearbox.
