Mahindra launches W4 variant in series of XUV 500
Home grown auto manufacturing company has launched one more variant of its highly acclaimed SUV, XUV 500 as XUV 500 W4 in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 10.83 lakh (ex-showroom price in Mumbai). The new XUV 500 W4 is energized with 2.2 litre mHawk diesel engine developing the power of 140 bhp and torque of 330 Nm. The power to front wheels is transmitted with six speed transmission. It is reported that XUV 500 W4 is fuel efficient vehicle which is speculated to deliver an average of 15 kmpl and is reported to be the powerful vehicle which accelerates the speed of 60 kmph within the span of 5.4 seconds.
The new SUV is equipped with various remarkable features mounted in XUV 500 W4 includes dual airbags, ABS+EBD, headlamps with LEDs, crash protection with crumple zones, Twin HVAC, disc brakes for all wheels, power and tilt steering, remote central lock system, power adjustable ORVMs, side impact beams and many more. Apart from these features other noticeable features which will grab attention of buyers include dual colored interiors, high defined integrated music system, adjustable driver seats, and fully foldable seats.
Addressing on launching occasion of XUV 500 W4 model Dr. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director and President, Automotive & Farm Equipment sector, M&M Ltd, said, XUV 500 has succeeded in making its presence in hearts of customers with its launch and emerged as trendsetter for SUV in Indian car market. Within the span of two years company has sold out more than 74,000 units of XUV 500 in Indian market and the new W4 will carry the success history of its ancestors to new heights.
