Mahindra XUV 500 export to Latin America from September
Come September and Mahindra will commence the export of the Mahindra XUV 500 SUV to Latin America. Really, the Cheetah inspired SUV has done exceptionally well in India and giving sleepless nights to other SUVs in the segment including the iconic Tata Safari. This is the reason why Tata went on further to launch the Tata Safari Storme to give some resistance to the growing popularity of the XUV 500 and it did succeed to some extent recently. As the car maker now intends to make it a world SUV, experts believe that the popularity of XUV 500 will supersede any of the existing ones.

In the meantime, Mahindra will also be strengthening the supply and sales of this SUV in African countries. Notably, Mahindra cars have decent presence worldwide and these cars are known as some of the most affordable and sturdiest of all. The XUV 500 has already proved its mettle in Australia and Latin America is its next target after a successful introduction in Europe. Meanwhile, in order cope up with the domestic demand as well as the export targets, the car maker has improved the production of this SUV to over 4500 units. This way the car maker will be able to popularize the SUV quite easily and in less than expected time.
The SUV is currently reeling under crisis due to short supply domestically and the recent step up in production will boost the prospects of this car greatly. Meanwhile, the car maker has also improved the production of two of its SUVs including Mahindra Quanto and Mahindra Rexton. Mahindra SUVs including Mahindra Scorpio, Mahindra Bolero and others have cumulatively fetched exceptional sales and Mahindra witnesses an increase of 17.68 percent in passenger vehicle sales. The contribution of XUV 500 in this is exceptional.
