Mahindra XUV500 touches the mark of 1 Lakh units
Mahindra XUV500 one of the highly acclaimed SUV’s from domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra has achieved a milestone of selling 1 lakh units since it began its journey in Indian car market 3 years back in September 2011. During this successful journey of three years, apart from satisfying different needs of its respected customers the SUV also succeeded in receiving various prestigious awards of auto industry. The price of SUV falls between Rs. 10.88 lakh and Rs. 12.88 lakh (ex-showroom price).
It would be interested to know that XUV 500 has not only huge fleet of successful owners in India but it has succeeded in hosting the flag of its success across the different countries of the world including South Africa, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Sri Lanka, Australia and Europe. The major awards won by SUV during these three years include Readers Choice Award and Best Value for Money Car Award. Apart from the SUV is also famous on social media with 1.8 million fans on Facebook and 10 million views on YouTube which in itself is enough to reveal its popularity among all the segments of society.
Despite of facing tough competition from existing SUVs like Duster from Renault, Terrano from Nissan, XUV has succeeded in having its own segment of buyers in Indian car market. With this from time to time the car maker has also offered various lucrative schemes to lure customers and have helped in enhancing the sales of different vehicles offered by company including XUV500.
