Maruti Alto 800 to be launched in Africa and America along with India

The year 2012 has been full of upheavals for India’s largest car maker. First it was a positive one with the launch of Maruti Ertiga and then it was the Manesar crisis that dampened all its prospects of bumper sales this year. Now that the car maker is about to launch the Maruti Alto 800 on October 16, it is expected that this car will be wiping all the tears of Maruti’s face and bring a big smile. Anticipating huge and ever huge volumes, the car maker will also be exporting the car to Africa and Latin America. This will help the car maker maintain steady sale even if there is slack in demand locally. Where the Maruti Alto 800 will have a huge Diwali this year its sales overseas is also expected to be high as the old generation Maruti 800.

The export of the Alto 800 to African and American countries will make sure that Maruti gets the required numbers right from the day 1 and there is no such case as that with the Tata Nano that searched for international destinations after not getting too much enthusiasm in the country.
