Maruti Ertiga Automatic launch in India at hand
Maruti Ertiga, which is receiving an immense response from customers in Indian auto market, will soon be offered with Automatic Transmission System choice too! Along with Indian customers, this popular LUV has also been offered to the Indonesian customers and recently an automatic transmission system version has been launched in that market. In Indonesian auto market, this popular LUV Ertiga is being offered in petrol trim only which has a 1.4 litre petrol motor under the hood.
Coming to Indian version of the Ertiga, it is being offered in both petrol and diesel engine models. Its petrol model comes loaded with the same 1.4 litre petrol engine, generates max power of 95PS at 6,000 rpm along with top torque of 130Nm at 4,000RPM. Meanwhile, diesel trim of the vehicle carries the famous 1.3L DDiS diesel engine which is known for both fuel efficiency and power. Both petrol and diesel engine models of the vehicle are mated to a 5 speed manual gearbox. And, the new launching AT version of the beast will be loaded with a 5 speed automatic transmission.
In Indonesian auto market, Ertiga automatic has been offered between Rs 9.6 lakh to Rs 10.26 lakh. India launching Maruti Ertiga AT will also be offered in petrol engine model only and it could be priced at Rs 7.50 lakh (Ex-showroom). At present, all the variants of the vehicle are being offered between Rs 6.21 lakh to Rs 9 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). Here the beast is giving tough competition to Nissan Evalia, Chevrolet Tavera, Mahindra Quanto and Toyota Innova.
