Maruti Ertiga bookings got overwhelming response on the launch day itself

Maruti Ertiga booking have commenced with the launch of the car on April 12. As per the media reports, the first car by Maruti in the MPV segment has received a booking of 400 units on the first day of its launch in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Maruti has received unprecedented number of queries of interested car buyers about Ertiga received by Maruti. The Ertiga launch at a start price of Rs 5.89 lakh has created a sensation in the car market and other players such as Toyota Innova and Chevrolet Tavera are in a fix as Ertiga is expected to eat a major share of theirs in the Indian car market.  

Being low priced and starting at Rs 5.89 lakh ex-showroom New Delhi and the diesel version starting at Rs 7.30 lakh ex-showroom Delhi, the Ertiga offers a great option for those who wish to have a family car and want to upgrade from a sedan to this MPV. Expecting a huge demand for the MPV and other cars this year, Maruti will be hiring 500 more people at the Manesar B plant. Currently, the strength at Manesar is 2,200 people.

Now that Maruti is gradually day by day launching the car in various cities, it is expected that it will also boost the demand for this MPV and soon the initial sales figure of 5000 units this month will be reached. Notably, Maruti will also commence exports by next month end to Indonesia and North Eastern markets. It is expected that the global car Ertiga will be able to sell like hot cakes in India and elsewhere it is launched. Basically, the features of Maruti Ertiga are what will be bring a happening sales chart for it as there are an array of safety, comfort and exterior features and all are bundled at an attractive and affordable price of Rs 5.89 lakh.
