Maruti Ertiga CNG launch in India nearer
Maruti Ertiga CNG launch in India is some days away. The country's largest passenger carmaker, MSIL is going to enhance the variant and fuel option choices for its flagship MPV, Ertiga very soon with launch of CNG fuel run trims. As per reports, the CNG model of the popular MPV will be launched in country in next weak. It will be offered in petrol engine model of the vehicle.
The new Maruti Ertiga CNG price will be about Rs. 30,000 costlier than current running petrol variants. The Indian auto major is reported to offer CNG option in two trims i.e. LXi and VXi. The Ertiga's petrol model is loaded with a 1.4 litre K-Series engine which generates max power of about 88.8 bhp and offers 16.2 kmpl, but the new launching CNG avatar will be more fuel efficient.
MSIL has witnessed a decline of 13 per cent in sales in May 2013. And now, in order to boost the sales figures the company is going to play CNG fuel option game which is expected to have very good response. Already, it has offered CNG fuel option in its many of popular cars like Alto, Eeco, WagonR and SX4 which are reporting very well response. Apart from this, the Indian auto major will continue be selling Maruti Swift Dzire Regal and Maruti Ertiga Feliz limited edition in the country.
