Maruti Ertiga gets a facelift in Indonesia

The MPV Maruti Ertiga is all set for a new journey in Indonesia after a more than success in India. The Indonesia model of the Maruti Ertiga has undergone some subtle changes which has made it more attractive in looks than the Indian counterpart. In India, the MPV is soon to be joined in by a segment rival Chevrolet Enjoy MPV. However, experts believe that the new model with additional features such as chrome work on grille and second and third row ac vents will make it more attractive in the new destination. The Indian Ertiga already has some of these features and thus it is only the replication of the Indian specs to Indonesia. In the country, the car has done exceptionally well and is among the best selling Maruti cars. Due to the good sales of the Ertiga, the segment itself has seen a considerable growth.
 

It is believed that the chrome work on the grille will be replicated on to the Indian model in the coming months in order to make it look more attractive. The features that have impressed India MUV buyers are not only the looks but the features. Availability in diesel and petrol option, awesome looks, unbeatable mileage, interior room and above all the trust of being a Maruti car are the factors that have made Ertiga a huge success in the country beating the segment leader Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Tavera and others including Mahindra Xylo. But the car is soon to get a strong rival Enjoy and that will soon be joined by Ford B Max MPV. Thus in all the multi utility segment is going to hot up.
 
When Ertiga is enjoying is success in India, its waiting period that is currently as high as 3-4 months time is a big worry. On the other hand, in order to give some momentum to petrol variant of Ertiga, the dealers are offering discount of Rs 15,000.
