Maruti Ertiga now launched in Rajasthan

Maruti’s foray in the MPV segment with the Maruti Ertiga is believed to be a giant leap for the company that has seen the difficult times in 2011. This year with the new Maruti Swift Dzire launch and now the Ertiga just in, experts believe that the year ahead is a brighter one. After being launched in Mumbai, Maruti Ertiga has also been launched in Mumbai and Rajasthan. The Ertiga price starts at Rs 6.05 lakh in Rajasthan while the top model in petrol has a price tag of Rs 7.49 lakh. The diesel Ertiga starts at Rs 7.49 lakh while its fully loaded variant which is Ertiga ZDi has a price of Rs 8.66 lakh.  

Ertiga, the seven seater Multi purpose vehicle by Maruti is now all set to beat Toyota Innova and Chevrolet Tavera following its low price and being from a brand that is the most trusted one in India. However, Maruti Ertiga price will be the sole factor. Besides the price, the Ertiga also has an array of features such as Anti-lock Braking system, air bags while interior comfort features include dual ac vents, comfortable leather wrapped seats, enough headroom at the third row, bottle cup holders and a lot of storage space as well. In addition to this Ertiga exteriors are somewhat car like and it doesn’t look like a boxy MPV like the Maruti Eeco or Maruti Omni.

Apart from this availability in petrol and diesel options will further enhance its sales. The petrol Ertiga is powered by a 1.4 L K series VVT engine that has ARAI certified mileage of 16.02 kmpl while the diesel Ertiga is powered by a 1.3 L DDiS CRDi engine which has ARAI tested mileage of 20.77 kmpl. With such array of features, exceptional mileage, and of course an attractive price, Ertiga will be an excellent upgrade option for sedan and hatchback users.
