Maruti Ertiga records 12,000 bookings within weeks of its Indonesian launch
After taking the Indian car market by a storm, Maruti Ertiga is literally rocking the Indonesian car market as well. Within 30 days of its launch there, Maruti Ertiga registered a whopping over 40000 bookings in India. The MPVs will be exported from India to Indonesia. Maruti Ertiga is a 7 seater MPV that hands-down a winner in Indonesia. According to the fresh reports, more than 12000 units of Ertiga have been booked in few weeks of its launch there. The booking amount for Ertiga is about five million Indonesian Rupiah, which comes out to be Rs. 30000.

It appears that these booking are going to amplify in Indonesian market substantially and create a hefty waiting period. However, the Indian car market isn’t showing up with such a high demand for Maruti Ertiga after the price hike. But hopefully, the MPV will make up for the tumbling demand in India from the Indonesian market.
