Maruti Ertiga Sport unveiled in Indonesia

The Maruti Ertiga car is making the headlines in Indonesia and the legacy that it has created in India is helping it. In India, the seven seater MUV is setting a benchmark for other MUVs and even SUVs both in terms of price as well as in terms of features and specifications. Meanwhile, the car maker has also unveiled three new models of the car which are almost at the concept stage. These are Luxury, Sport and Crossover. The last one which is a crossover is was the centre of attraction at the Indonesian Motor Show and all eyes were on the car. This is an SUV based on the Ertiga.

The most important thing that is helping the car to be so famous in India is first the brand the second factor is that the car is being offered at a price at which the car buyer has an option to have a multi utility car. Similar is the case with the features which are the best in class and some are segment first. In addition to this the space and features it is offering has been acclaimed to be better than all other MUVs including Toyota Innova, Chevrolet Tavera and the Mahindra Xylo. However, the Ertiga has got its rival in the form of Mahindra Quanto and it can do the damage.  

For the Indonesia market which is petrol driven, there will be three models available and there will be 95 PS engine car that will be available there. The engine will be K14B type and it will be of 1.4 L. The torque capacity will be 130Nm and it will be mated to a five speed manual gearbox. The top of the line models will be equipped with all the features that a top class car should have.
