Maruti Ertiga, one of the most awaited multi utility vehicles in the Indian auto market, will also be exported to the Indonesian market after its launch in India. The company plans to dispatch the Ertiga MPV to the Indonesian market through CKD (completely knocked-down unit) route from India, followed by its assembling at the Suzuki’s assembly plant in Indonesia. Moreover, it will be sold with a different badge – Suzuki Ertiga MP – in that market. The Ertiga is not the first car that is going to be exported to Indonesia through CKD route, as Suzuki Swift was being assembled in Indonesia after export of CKD kits to the Thai market.
