Maruti Suzuki Ciaz new facts out : Expected to launch on October 6, 2014
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is one of the highly awaited and biggest launch in Indian car market by country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited. The sedan is expected to launch on October 6, 2014 but the sources have succeeded in collecting detailed information about the features and variants that would be offered in the sedan. The Ciaz would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants with option of six variants and four variants in both the trims respectively. The petrol variants will be empowered with 1.4 litre K Series petrol engine producing the poer of 94 bhp and torque of 130 Nm, while the diesel variants would sport 1.3 litre Multijet engine boosting the power of 90 bhp and torque of 200 Nm. Both the engine would be mated five speed manual gearbox followed by VXi and Zxi variants offered with four speed automatic transmission system.
The petrol variants would be named as VXi, VXi+, ZXi, ZXi+, VXi AT and ZXi AT, whereas the diesel variants would be named as VDi, VDi+, ZDi and ZDi+. The base variants in both the trims that VXi and VDi would be blessed with features like glass antenna, projector headlamps, electric boot opener, electronic ORVMs along with mounted indicators on the exteriors. Inside the cabin these variants would be offered with 2 DIN music system supporting connectivity with AUX and USB, power windows, front and rear armrests, keyless entry, power windows, front and rear armrests and high quality fabric upholstery. The second grade variants that is VXi+ and VDi+ would be offered with ABS=EBD, steering mounted audio control supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, driver airbag, fog lamps, height adjustable driver seat and parking sensors.
Moving ahead thje ZXi and ZDi variants will embellish rear sunshade, floor lights, button start, 15-inch alloy wheels, passenger airbags, auto-dim IVRM, electric folding for the OVRMs, rear camera, individual reading lamps, chrome door handles and leather fabric upholstery. And finally the top end variants that is ZXi+ and ZDi+ variants would be equipped with additional features like touch screen infotainment system, external door rub strips, 16-inch alloy wheels, leather wrapped steering, leather upholstery and chrome on boot. The upcoming sedan is one of the highly anticipated sedans to be offered by MSIL as it will strengthen its position in C Segment cars where till date it has not enjoyed the expected success. After launch Maruti Suzuki Ciaz would compete against , Nissan Sunny, ,VW Polo, Ford Fiesta, Skoda Rapid , Renault Scala and the Fiat Linea.
