Maruti Suzuki Launches Limited Edition Of Ignis
Country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the limited edition of its not so popular hatchback Ignis in the Indian car market without any high end promotion campaign. It is believed that going through the not so encouraging performance, company wishes to increase the sales of Ignis by introducing the limited edition. In India the hatchback is being sold through NEXA premium outlets located in all cities of the country.

Under the hood, the Limited Edition will be continued with the existing 1.2 litre petrol engine that is capable of boosting the power of 83 bhp and the torque of 113Nm. The transmission duty is performed by five speed manual gearbox system, followed by an option of five speed AMT gearbox system. As the company has not yet revealed the price of this Limited Edition, it is believed to be priced in the range of Rs. 5.28 lakh to Rs. 5.83 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). In the Indian car market, the Ignis competes with Mahindra KUV100NXT and Ford Freestyle.

Talking about the featurs offered in Maruti Suzuki Ignis Limited Edition, it will be customized with additional accessories of worth Rs. 45,000 fitted by the Indo-Japanese carmakers. These accessories will of fitted on both the exterior and interior portions. On the exterior front it will be embellishe with the features like side door cladding with Ignis logo, tail-gate mounted rear spoiler, body kit with silver moulding on both front and rear bumpers along with the side skirts. Inside the cabin, it will be decorated with high defined seat covers, dual front airbags, electronically adjustable ORVMs, 2-DIN audio system, that supports connectivity with Bluetooth, anti-lock braking system and few more to name.
